"BALLS"!!!!
Lisa is excited to announce her new release to Canadian Radio!!! "Balls" (Elizabeth Cook/Melinda Schneider) has just hit radio waves!!!
"Sometimes it takes Balls to be a woman"...is the fun, country, toungue-in-cheek way that Lisa expresses her image as a vivacious, strong, independent, womanin the music business, in her life and in her role as mommy to her 2-year old little girl!!
Balls is just plain country FUN!!!
This song is the vehicle by which Canadian country radio can encourage smiles, laughter and a sense of traditional country flavour on their radio waves!!!!

*Currently, I am working with the hottest band that I have ever put together; the unit is mine and so no other players coming in and out of the mix (which always makes for a great, tight show!). Gordie Matthews (of kd lang and Ian Tyson- band leader/elec, slide, acoustic guitar/vocals), Dave Barber (elec, acoustic guitar/ utility guy- banjo, mando), Kirby Green (gal bass player- stand-up and elec bass/vocals), Dennis Boisvert (percussion/drums). I also work with the skilled and ever-so-traditional, steel guitar player, Darryl Campbell, and reknown and world-class fiddler- Tony Michaels . *It is just the greatest unit of genuine people and fantastic musicians that I have ever worked with, which makes the presentation of this album so much more wonderful!!
New Song from Lisa's album "Fearless"released to Canadian Radio!! "Too Used to Loving You" is an organic country recording that exudes the down home side of this Lisa Hewitt; a fan of Buddy Miller who has penned this great country tune!!
