I cannot tell you all how excited I am to turn this NEW page over in the "novel" of my career in country music.
To bring to you my "Dream Show"...an entire night filled with the songs from the Classic Opry era...it is Classic Country Music at its BEST! It is The Lisa Hewitt Classic Country Road Show!!!!
The show looks shiny-like the stage and stars of the opry of old. The band is slick, with sounds of fiddle and steel guitar, dobro, banjo and upright bass.
The show will have you singing along, tapping your toes or dancing all night long!
Can't wait to see you at The Classic Country Road Show!!
Thanks to the generous hearts of everyone who donated to, helped with and attended the "New Year, New Hope New Years Eve Bash". Because of you, the CBCF received a donation for
$14 171.00!!!
We are thrilled to be a part of the Cure!!

"BALLS"!!!!
Lisa is excited to announce her new release to Canadian Radio!!! "Balls" (Elizabeth Cook/Melinda Schneider) has just hit radio waves!!!
"Sometimes it takes Balls to be a woman"...is the fun, country, toungue-in-cheek way that Lisa expresses her image as a vivacious, strong, independent, womanin the music business, in her life and in her role as mommy to her 2-year old little girl!!
Balls is just plain country FUN!!!
This song is the vehicle by which Canadian country radio can encourage smiles, laughter and a sense of traditional country flavour on their radio waves!!!!

*Currently, I am working with the hottest band that I have ever put together; the unit is mine and so no other players coming in and out of the mix (which always makes for a great, tight show!). Gordie Matthews (of kd lang and Ian Tyson- band leader/elec, slide, acoustic guitar/vocals), Dave Barber (elec, acoustic guitar/ utility guy- banjo, mando), Kirby Green (gal bass player- stand-up and elec bass/vocals), Dennis Boisvert (percussion/drums). I also work with the skilled and ever-so-traditional, steel guitar player, Darryl Campbell, and reknown and world-class fiddler- Tony Michaels . *It is just the greatest unit of genuine people and fantastic musicians that I have ever worked with, which makes the presentation of this album so much more wonderful!!
New Song from Lisa's album "Fearless"released to Canadian Radio!! "Too Used to Loving You" is an organic country recording that exudes the down home side of this Lisa Hewitt; a fan of Buddy Miller who has penned this great country tune!!
Be sure to request this song at your favorite country radio station!!
Fantastic room!! Great stage! Cool, Hip Vibe!! Join me and my Band, Thursday, August 6th @ 9:30pm for a special performance downtown Edmonton!!
